Randy Mitchell became the pastor of First Christian Church, Kearney in July 2015.

His ministry passion is about leading people to really trust God for the issues of everyday life. His hope is that you will find a takeaway principle for life from his weekend messages that you will to put into practice at home, where you work and in your relationships with others.

He’s a lifelong resident of the greater Kansas City area who has spent over 40 years serving others in ministry roles that include directing summer youth camps, student ministries, mission trips and projects, leading worship, weekly Bible Studies and weekend preaching.

He believes that everyone’s life is better with Jesus in it.
Our relationship with Jesus grows and deepens as we cultivate a love for the advice and direction the Bible offers and through serving God by serving others in our homes, our neighborhoods, in other countries and wherever and whenever the opportunity presents itself.
